WEDDING COLOR INSPIRATION {shake it like a polaroid picture} COLOR ~ Lemon Yellow

{Love it.}

Ok, my 6-year-old niece just did the cutest thing, and so that means another blog post for you guys, today.  Wheeee!  Ok, here’s what she said:

“Hey, Aunt Ali, look what I can do!”

And then, my adorably diminutive niece, better known for her artistic renderings of cartoon characters falling in love than for her coordination on the court… showed me how to pass a bouncy ball like a basketball ball through her legs in a figure eight pattern.  Oohhhh how I wish I had a picture of it to show you.  She did it with such determined precision, and she did it in what seemed like slow-motion.  No, wait, it was in slow motion.  She weaved the ball through her stems at a pace unknown to humans.  I mock it, but you know what?  She didn’t drop it.  Not once.

Here’s the bad news: her equally uncoordinated (but makes it up in good punim) little 3-year-old brother was rolling around on the ball – on purpose – and suddenly slammed his teeth into the wood floor.  Awesome.  This is just like him.  He wasn’t happy.  But he recovered nicely with a little ice to suck on and getting to throw the bouncy ball at my face.  (Hah, sucker.  Didn’t hurt ONE BIT.)

Ok, check this out.  I am in love with the boards Chantale from La Belle Bride created for this wedding.  Aren’t these colors and details just fab?  I can’t get over it.  I… I just… I just can’t.  And by the way, Chantale is a fellow guest blogger over at Style Me Pretty, so we’re kinda blogging sisters and I already have some love for her.  But these colors and this wedding just blow it out of the water.

Gorgeous, right?

    Love the lemons! We've used them in the past {as well as green apples and limes} for bar decor, centerpieces, and other wedding goodness. They're inexpensive and have such an impact!
