I like coffee. (I know, big news!) I drink half-caff every morning, and that’s it. I try to stay away from the strong stuff – it makes me want to cage fight a puma. but I definitely like the difference that a cup of half-caff makes in my day. My guy, on the other hand, happens to be one of those few creatures on this Earth who doesn’t need or like the stuff; he just runs on pure – well, I don’t even know. He certainly doesn’t get enough sleep every night (wink wink nudge nudge), and he works HARD (that wasn’t part of the wink wink nudge nudge so don’t get any ideas). So I really don’t understand where he gets the stamina (ok, SHUT UP).
But, for me, there definitely are times when I don’t need a jolt of caffeine to feel alive and ready to tackle the day with a smile ear-to-ear.
This is one of those times. Behold, a selection from the Erdem Spring 2011 RTW Collection from fashion week. I can trust Erdem to bring to life the most feminine designs made of some of the most gorgeous fabrics I’ve ever seen. I love a designer who creates for the female form. (You’d be surprised how many don’t!)
Here’s some more from the collection; I have a love affair with the details going on below – not the hugest fan of the overall looks, but the details have a hold on me…
Not everybody’s a fan of lace, and I’m not always on board either. Some lace looks are downright trashy. Though I do love this Lacey number:
Anyway… the thing is, when lace is done right, it can be the softest, sweetest, most ethereal look outside of heaven. And Erdem, in my opinion, has done it right.

And, as if that wasn’t enough eye candy for the day…
I also happen to be a lover of anything and everything braided. And the style below is how I’d prefer to wear my hair everyday, if wearing your hair in a crown of braids on a daily basis wasn’t so hugely ridic.

Would you wear/are you wearing lace in any form on your wedding day? And have you thought about how you’d like to wear your hair?
