GUEST BLOGGER | ‘Fall’ in Love with a Handmade Wedding, with Emma of Emmaline Bride

Dress by Angel’s Bridal Boutique; Photographer David Newkirk

Hey everyone!  Today’s guest blogger is Emma, of Emmaline Bride, and she’s bringing you some amazing Fall wedding inspiration, from a handmade perspective.  Take it away, Emma!

… It’s October (ok, seriously, where did the time go?), and you know what that means – fall is in full swing and romance is in the air!  I LOVE FALL.  Just sayin’.  It is my favorite season, hands down.  Sure, summer is nice and all, but in an epic battle of summer versus fall, the latter wins my heart every time.  I adore cozy sweaters, warm donuts, apple cider, hay rides, pumpkins, and fresh-from-the-oven apple pie.  The sound of a leaf crisping under my feet is enough to make me throw on my favorite sweater+jeans combo and head to my local cider mill.

Today I decided to up the ante a bit and pair my favorite season, Fall, with my favorite obsession, Handmade Weddings.  The result?  Swoon-worthy, vibrant handcrafted finds with a romantically rustic tone.  Or, as Alison might say, Game Over. ;)  It was not an easy task sifting through the tons of fab handcrafted finds (there is so much talent out there!) but I have selected ten items that I feel are definitely worth the mention.  I hope you enjoy!

One: “fall in love” banner by giggleroom / Two: petite edible sugar fall leaves by Andie’s Specialty Sweets / Three: mini bow shoe clips in mustard yellow by The Shop at No. 144 / Four: GORGEOUS “forget me not” wedding dress in silk chiffon by Sarah Seven / Five: mossy ring bearer nest by Pomp and Plumage / Six: yellow eco-friendly billy button bouquet by EcoLectic Events / Seven: leaf earrings by OneLifeJewelry / Eight: delightfully sweet + simple felt acorns by FairyFolk / Nine: acorn, pine cones and tallow berries boutonniere by WhichGoose / Ten: apple love cake topper by Middleburg

But wait, there’s more!  I spotted this delightful autumn place card idea + mini-photo shoot at Martha Stewart Weddings.  Check out those favors packaged in a cute paper bag! LOVE!

xoxo!  – Emma of Emmaline Bride
