PARTY SHOES | Martha Stewart Weddings Party and Bridal Market Shoe Spotlight!

Ok, so Martha’s Bridal Market Celebration last night was off the chain.  And, first and foremost, I’d like to personally thank Martha and the gorgeous ladies of Martha Stewart Weddings for scheduling last night’s shindig between the hours of 6 and 10pm.  You know the way to a girl’s heart on a Monday night.  P.S. – I had one and a half drinks (they were called “Golden Grooms” – love it) and I woke up this morning with a slight – a slight – hangover.  You’d think I was 10 years old.  No, seriously, these days, in some areas, 10 year-olds hold their liquor better than I do.  It’s a sad, sad fact.  Anywho!

Everyone was dressed to the nines and, while I adored my own ensemble of ruffled skirt, floral tank and slightly ruffled cardigan (you might be thinking, “too many ruffles?” but nope – just the right amount), I pretty much coveted EVERY SINGLE OTHER OUTFIT PRESENT.

Pssst… Essie nail corner!

… If I had wanted to act a fool, I would have approached approximately 47 girls and asked them where they bought their threads.  That’s how fashionable last night was.  The tone of the night was mostly black and white, so much so that when we first walked in I thought the grey number I had on was a mistake!  But pops of color began to reveal themselves… specifically in the deep purple number Sassi Holford rocked.  Speaking of Sassi Holford, I had a fun little experience with her on Sunday that involved a Louis Vuitton bag and a mannequin doing a face plant.  That unfortunate story on which I will expand later this week also led me to the realization that Sassi Holford is an extremely rad woman with a very healthy sense of humor.  But I digress.

Pics from last night’s bash will be making their way to the bliggity blog in a bit… or maybe just on Twitter, if I get busy ;) … but, as promised…

Today is the infamous Tuesday Shoesday and, as you well know, I like to partake in the aforementioned online festivity once in a while, when I think I have something worthy of stealing the day.  Enter, Aruna Seth Bridal Collection 2011.  I met the wonderful people of Aruna Seth at Bridal Market this weekend, and walked away (after a bit of chit chat and a lot of shoe drooling in their booth) with a disc chock full of the loveliest, flashiest (in a good way), shiniest shoes a girl could ever want.  And I’m bringing a few of my absolute favorite pics to your faces, right here, right now.  So… shall we begin?

Whether or not you’re a fan of butterflies, how hot are these heels?

xoxo!  - Alison
