WEDDING DRESS OBSESSIONS | Watters and Watters | My dress dreams, come to life…

This morning I’m bringing Watters and Watters’ latest collection for 2011 to your faces.  And I know you’re already in love after seeing those two, above.  Eh?  Eh?  Am I right?  I’m right.  But just wait… there are approximately a lot more dresses in this post for you to ogle, and when you’re done sifting through the lot, you won’t know what hit you.  But I will…

I’ll know serious dress awesomeness hit you.

Because OMGTHESEDRESSESARETHEBOMB.

I heart pretty much all of these gowns.  Eerily so.  SO MUCH SO, in fact, that I’m coming up with conspiracy theories regarding their sources of inspiration.

Ok, so here’s what I think happened:

I think – and remember, this is a theory, so it’s only probably true; I have no evidence – that Watters and Watters kidnapped me, connected me in some futuristic way to a ‘hopes and dreams’ machine of some sort, and then extracted everything I dream of seeing in a bridal collection.  These ‘hopesicles’ and ‘dreamsicles’ (you can thank Erin Loechner for the suffix adorableness I just employed) were then injected in the coffee of the designers of these gowns and, somehow – I’m no scientist so I can’t explain this part – were introduced into the designers’ bloodstreams and, incredibly, inspired them to create these magnificent dresses.  Hopefully they’ll admit to this soon, because I’ve got a bit of a headache that I refuse to attribute to the festivities I attended this weekend.  I’m pretty sure the Watters and Watters idea-extraction machine is to blame.

MORE DRESSES TIME!

Check this one out…

Wait for it… wait for it…

… Here it is IN A SHORT VERSION, Y’ALL!!!!!

Be still my beating heart.

So… thoughts on these babies?  I know you have ‘em, so spill ‘em.  (Not on the conspiracy theory – I’m already certain of that.  On the dresses.)

xoxo!  – Alison

    I. LOVE. the 3rd one down from the top, with the bejeweled belt. I hope it becomes available in time for my wedding! It’s the perfect combination of everything I’ve ever wanted in my wedding gown. Hyperventilating over here.

I love Watters sooo much, even tho I’m biased b/c I was a Watters bride :) They were hands down the chicest, nicest, lux-est, best quality and material dresses in my price range (and even above my price range. seriously.) In love with these new additions! Particularly that last dress – it feels like the 2.0 version of mine :)

I love the one that has a short and long version, the sweetheart one with floral appliques on the sheer overlay, and the really romantic flowy two-tone nature gown where the model has a pink flower in her hair. You’re right these dresses are amazing. :)
