RUFFLED DRESS LOVE | My favorite ruffled wonders from Bridal Market… {THIS IS A HUGE POST!}

SHUT UP, PRONOVIAS.

{This gown is a product of my dreams, it cannot possibly exist in real life.}

I’m fully aware of the fact that you’re sitting at your computer, or laptop, or holding your iPhone, or you’re one of those thousands of people who read the blog with an iPad (which makes me feel way cool for some reason) right now, with your face 2 inches from the screen, drooling a little bit into your coffee over this angel of a dress.  Because I am, and I refuse to believe that I’m the only person who dribbles a little bit into her coffee mug when — wait, someone’s telling me I am the only one… (s***, I am?)… ok, I guess I am.  Eff.  Totes lost the cool feeling.

Anywhozit!  That stunner up top is the “Terma,” from the Manuel Mota 2010 collection out of the house of Pronovias.  Funfact: did you know, a Pronovias gown was the very first brand of gown I ever tried on, EVER?  Like, EH-VUH.  It was with the Mama and the Papa and it was awesome.  Except we couldn’t decide because my Mom and I loved the sleek, ruffled, nicely-fitted-in-all-the-right-places gown, and my Dad loved all the gowns that weren’t that… in his opinion, the fave was fitted-in-all-the-wrong-places.  Dads.

Like I promised a little while ago on zee Twittaire, I’ve gathered up a bunch of the prettiest, flutteriest, loveliest, most romantic ruffled dresses from Bridal Week…

Oscar de la Renta

Marchesa

Jasmine Collection

Modern Trousseau

Lela Rose

Melissa Sweet

Katerina Bocci

Ines Di Santo

Priscilla of Boston, again!

The fabulous Colin Cowie snapped that last one from Pronovias… how freaking orNATE is that?

… and I’m shoving them all in your faces.  BUT, because there are just too freaking many lovelies to share… I’m gallery-ing this baby up.  So, BEHOLD, gallery of ruffle love.  After you’re done with it, it’ll be the best dang gallery you’ve ever seen in your life.  Yeah, go ahead, bookmark it, I don’t mind.

P.S. – hover over the thumbnails of the images to find out their designers, or click ‘em to see them up close.  YOU’RE WELCOME.

    I just wish my wedding was postponed a little so that I could arrange for such a nice dress, but I have already arranged for my dress.

    Not hard to pick one I liked, cause there´s none.

    My first time in a dress was also in a Pronovias product.
    But the price made me wake up to reality.
    Honestly, to pay thousands for a dress you will wear once in your life, when you could take a whole week holiday trip with your beloved anywhere worthy it, just doesn´t make sense for me.
    Anyway, it is good that they have sooooo many different models, so that people who aren´t me and think differently can also be happy!
    Thanks for the post and for the work of showing up sooo many pics!

    I’m obssesed with Pronovias, I realized that maybe someone else could fall in love with the same gown, Terma (Manuel Mota) and I found some extra pictures online, under “Amalia Salamanca”, a Spanish actress, who modeled that gown for them. Here is a link:

    I’m a little late to the party, but I’ve been looking for the Pronovias Terma. Does you have any idea of the price on that? Thanks!!
