WEDDING DRESS OBSESSION | Sarah Seven | A gown more meaningful than any other.

Today’s dress spotlight falls on a designer so many of us in the world of weddings have come to admire, not just for her unique and skillful approach, but also for her strong commitment to the causes of ruffles, whimsy and the female silhouette.  I’ve brought dresses of hers to your eyes in the past… but today, well, today’s different.

Today, I give you Sarah Seven’s very own wedding gown… the Everthine.

Like it?  Love it?  Want more of it?  You’re in luck…

… not only did Sarah wear this style on the day of her own wedding, but the style is part of her brand new Spring 2011 Collection.  Yeah.  You can purchase it for your Big day. Hello, awesome!

Why am I featuring this beauty today, you ask?  Simple: because, according to Sarah, the Sarah Seven Spring 2011 Collection is officially up for purchase as of November 1st.  So if you love the style above as much as I do, or have found yourself fawning over the dresses I’ve featured here in the past, well then you’re probably pretty damn excited about this news.  Eh?

Sarah Seven is a member of Vendor Love™, The Knotty Bride’s Preferred Vendor Guide.  To view this listing, click here.

Given what you know about me and ruffles, I think it’s pretty clear where I stand on this dress.  But, pray tell, what are your thoughts?  Are you over ruffles?  Can you not get enough of them?  Are you so obsessed, that you own a ruffled bedspread?

{Note: if I didn’t actually care about what my fiancé thinks/wants, I’d own a ruffled bedspread.  Life’s about compromise.  And his reason – “But babe, I don’t want to wake up with all those ruffles all up in my mouth!” – was too adorable to ignore.}

xoxo!  – Alison

I’m drooling over that dress. I’d buy it in any color, too!

dude – anthropologie has the cutest ruffled duvet cover. and yes, i’ve been forbidden to purchase on the grounds that it’s “far too girly”. bah.

I love this! Urban Outfitters has a ruffle bedspread too…and a ruffle pillowcase, and ruffle curtains. Even a ruffle laundry bag! It is amaazing, and I would definitely buy it all if I had the funds.

I’m not a bride but I’m pretty excited to see the Sarah Seven Spring 2011 Collection ;) The dresses are always so dreamy, so beautiful.

Wow. Could there be a more perfect dress? I am so in love. Good thing I just got married, because this would have been the dress to make me change my mind to it at the last minute!

I am not a fan of the top. The chest area seems strange to me. But of course I love the ruffles and so I will forgive the top.

I love Sarah Seven, she is my brand new obsession!

Oh, how I adore Sarah Seven’s silhouettes, although they are certainly designed for gals who can forgo bras most days of the week (sadly, I’m in a committed relationship with my undergarments). I’m also wild for how she styles her shoots-so dreamy!

  13. Lauren Elise on November 5, 2010

Would wear a Sarah Seven dress in a second!

  14. Kate Holland on November 6, 2010

I loooove the ruffles too, but I’m with Alicia — not sold on the top. Seems like you’d definitely have to change into another dress for the dancing part of the evening, right?

Hi Christine – just wanted to mention that I’ve actually tried on a Sarah Seven dress with a similar top, and my titter totters were tucked safely away the whole time I wore it! I think those gowns can really hold on tight. ;) And I’m so with you on the ruffles. SO.

Just like a fairytale! I love it

I am a ruffle person but more importantly a Sarah Seven person. My twin maid of honor wore her Robin’s Egg blue dress for my wedding and it was almost cuter than my Watters dress. Almost.

*It was also perfectly tailored and beautifully made. Very similar neckline to this featured dress.

I’ve been surfing on-line more than 3 hours these days, yet I by no means discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours.
It is lovely worth sufficient for me. In my
view, if all website owners and bloggers made excellent content as you probably did,
the web will likely be much more helpful than ever before.
