OMG. It’s happening.

We launch the new site on Monday.  Wait, I don’t know if you heard me – WE LAUNCH THE NEW SITE ON MONDAY.  And I don’t know if I’m more excited about the launch, or the fact that, on Twitter, celebrity wedding and event planner/designer Colin Cowie named The Knotty Bride in his recommendations today on who’s worth following.  I think it’s a tie, though I’m kinda leaning towards the Colin Cowie thing – I’m sure you understand. ;)

Moving right along… aside from wondering what the new site will look like (magically I’ve managed to keep it hidden all this time), you might be wondering what it feels like to be launching in what is essentially a hot second.  Let me tell you, I feel like a mischievous kitten with myriad balls of wound yarn art installations at my disposal.

More clearly, I feel extremely excited, and ready to playfully wrap myself in string while I roll around on the floor, oblivious to what’s going on around me.  Whatever that translates to in human terms.

Anyway, like I said, we’re days away, people.  And I’m COUNTING THE WEEKEND when I say “days away.”

Your focus has likely become transfixed on the AMAZEBALLS ART INSTALLATION going on in this post.  It’s ok – I feel you.  That’s a pretty amazeballs art installation, which is why I just said that is was, a second ago, in the previous sentence.  Myka Haddad and Tori Hendrix of Sitting in a Tree created that color-scheme-tastic fabulousness, and Sarah Yates is the divine force who snapped it for our viewing pleasure.  And I’m crazy about all of it.  Here’s some more inspo for you to eat up:

I’m hoping this’ll hold you over ’til Monday.

But can we stay on this yarn thing, for a minute?  Yarn.  That’s yarn up there.  Who knew?  And in such a brilliant colorway, no less.  I think I’m in color scheme heaven as we speak.  Ok, I’m done.

… No I’m not…  ☛ These ladies also had quite a bit to do with one of my favorite weddings of all time.  So, there’s that, too.

Event: Hitched / Photography: Sarah Yates and Jack Whittbold / Event Design and Coordination: Sitting in a Tree

Peace and love for now!

… And remember, next week this place will be A Different World, and I’m not talking about a Cosby Show spin-off.

xoxo!  – Alison

Label(s): Blue, Pink, Purple, {Floral + Decor}

Love all of this...
