THANKFUL FOR | *Blog launch countdowns* + holiday gift, fashion and decor loveliness!

SO!

… The Countdown begins.  OMIGODICANYOUBELIEVEITICANT.  We’re approx. two business days and one weekend away from the launch, peoples!!!!!  Monday, Monday, Monday!  Get your engines ready, because a whole new The Knotty Bride is comin’ to town.  WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

… I can’t capture the excitement in words ok – I just can’t.  It’s too much.  Too much.  So let’s move on and try to act cool, like nothing big is about to happen on Monday.  Aright?  ACT COOL.  NOW, moving right along…

There’s something really special in the air.  You know what it is?  It’s that wonderful holiday aroma.  Mmmm… get a whiff of it.  It smells like freezing.  Well, actually, this year, it seems to be far less frigid than typical for November (at least where I am), which proooobably has something to do with global warming.  Sigh.

Here’s what’s awesome – because the holidays seem to be ever-present on my mind these days (I’m not kidding you guys – I’ve got XMas undies on.  No, seriously.  No, SERIOUSLY.  Full disclosure: they’ve got tiny whales on them, but they are red, green and white, so technically, XMAS.)… I’d like to bring you a little somethin’-somethin’ that’ll help everyone out there who still hasn’t gotten any gifts yet.  … Which is likely all of you, since it’s only the middle of November.  Yeah, so, I’m excited, because I love all of these things, and want to hold/wear them in/to bed.  That’s how obsessed I am with what’s going on here in this post, today.  Aaaaaand…

The great thing about the decor elements peppered throughout this post is that I personally think they’d be a massive winfest for your holiday-inspired wedding!  I mean, handmade paper bunting, in both nude and gold colors?  What about that is NOT perfect styling for your wedding. And crackers are kind of the perfect little favor for your guests!  Are you getting excited?  :)

Ok, so, without further adieu, check it all out… I hope you enjoy!

handmade paper bunting

handmade paper flower garland

organic drinking chocolate flakes

organic chocolate truffles

Speaking of truffles… want to eat a lot but still look hot?  This gorgeous silk velvet wrap dress will hit the spot.  I know, random rhyme attack.

Pair that stylish and comfy little number with some sheer (or, opaque grey, imo) stockings and these Cora heels, and you’re holiday bound…

By the way, she’s wearing this feather headband, if you were wondering…

More shoes – these are the Cala heels…

Omigod I need a pair of these…

velvet lined slippers

Neck bling in the hizzy…

luisa necklace

disc necklace

aran hand knitted socks

I definitely need these in my life.

Wanna get someone a completely predictable gift, but you’re looking to make it extra special?

Glycerine soaps!

love:

… crackers!

(note: Toast says they’re “good” so I guess that means there are tiers to cracker quality.  So uhh, I guess they’re saying these will work, or something?  Anyways, each contains a gift, a riddle and a hat – and I’m assuming they’re “good” gifts, riddles and hats.)

Quick note: I’m a little obsessed with Toast.  In fact, there’s really only one thing I think I like more than the products Toast offers, and that’s the styling.  If a product shot itself doesn’t sell me all the way, the styling shot will finish the job EVERY TIME.  Can you dig?

So, about these decor and gift ideas… what think you?  Like?  Love?  Hate?  Do they make you want to spoon your eyes out just so you won’t have to look at them anymore?

Ok.  I officially cannot hold in my pee any longer.

Peace and love for now!

xoxo!  – Alison

Love the socks, perfect for winter. Random note: I’m allergic to velvet, so those robes gave me the heebie jeebies through my computer screen ;) (issues? maybe…)
