Smörgåsbord | Wedding dresses, wedding shoes, wedding fonts, wedding shoe shots, wedding colors, blah blah blah!

Oh, hello Nelly Script + gorgeous ring triumvirate.  So nice to meet you!

Le sigh…

We have some amazing weddings, giveaways, exclusive printable freebies, dessert tablescapes and other beyond fab posts coming up soon (!!!), but there’s been so much beauty all around the wedding world that I thought I’d devote today to gathering it up and bringing it to these pages…

That’s right, kids!  It’s time for another smörgåsbord post… yippee!  *the crowd goes wild*

Ok, first up: who doesn’t love a good shoe shot?  You all know I do, so much so that I devoted an entire post to the art of the image.  Here’s a new favorite, and it’s a twofer!  Ring shot + shoe shot = AMAZEBALLS.  What’s more, it’s so easy-peasy lemon squeezie to replicate.  Ingredients: one pair of Jimmy Choos in your size (you’re not fooling anybody but yourself if you buy them a size too small, ladies – NOT WORTH IT) + one engagement ring, courtesy of your lovah.  TIP: If you have a stellar photographer, s/he’ll know to do this, but just so you’re aware – make sure you take this shot before you romp around that farm/backyard/pavement parking lot throughout your wedding day.  Close ups of damaged shoes are not as awesome as closeups of pretty, sparkling clean shoes.  Photo by Forever Photography Studio, via my good friends over at Style Me Pretty.

There are also these two beauts… and all you need is a twig or some flowers.  You know, if you decide to go barefoot.  :)

Next topic…

I’m dying.  I’m dead.

The pretty is just… it’s simply… it’s too much.

Remember Bridal Market?  Remember how I went to it?  Remember all those posts about it?  Yeah?  Well, I did a little thing called “collect all my favorites” and somehow I haven’t gotten around to sharing them with you!  I know, WTF, me?  Anyways, I’m slamming them in your faces, now-style. What do you think?

The twosome up top is made up of a vey simple, very romantic Kevan Hall on the left, and a unique, absolutely breathtaking Monique Lhuillier on the right.  I want to wear either one to every event I ever attend in my life from this point forward.  Please and thank you.

Here’s some more dress perfection for you to love on:

Ines Di Santo

Angel Sanchez

Enzoani

Amsale

Next up, here’s a teensy weensy little taste of a DIY we’ve got coming up very soon from our lovely DIY contributor, Lauren of Lauren Elise Crafted

We heart her, and here are a couple of reasons why. :)

Next, a wedded couple after my own heart, due entirely to their deep love for the prettiest paper goods designed by Brightly Designed.

These colors physically excite me.  I’m not perving out on you guys, but I’m going to be honest and tell you that I am slightly turned on right now.  Take from that what you may.  But always remember, wedding planning is the equivalent of the “girlfriend experience” for men, so this all makes perfect sense. ;)

Anywho!  What think you of these delicious finds?

xoxo!  – Alison

Love all of this...

Smörgåsbord!! First off I love that. Second, and this is very important, I am afraid that those dresses may make me swoon to oblivion as well. I have plans today so that will be most inconvenient. Great post love!
