WEDDING DRESS LOVE | I FOUND IT! | The perfect coupling: lovely white ruffled wedding dress + glitter heels

First: Voting on our hugetastic free wedding photography giveaway ends today at 9AM PST.  Which means we’re getting mighty close to knowing who’s gonna win the best giveaway of their freaking LIVES.  High kick, woot!

Second: we just started this on Twitter this morning, but given the massive response, we’re taking it to the blog…

The time has come, friendlies… we’re filling up our Blog Link Love page.  We’ve been hella busy with Vendor Love and the rest of the neat features spicing up life on TKB ever since the revamping in late November ’10, but we decided it’s about time to get that Link Love page up and running so we can bounce some of our readers over to our favorite places all around the interwebs!  :)  If you’d like to be added (assuming we’re on yours, too!), leave a comment on this post requesting to be added, and link to your blog on the appropriate url line.  (We like to keep things nice and clean around these parts, so we’d appreciate it if you didn’t also write in a link to your blog within the comment box.  ‘Preciate it!

Third: ok, now we move on to the more important issue at hand today…

♥ ¡WEDDING DRESS LOVE! ♥

Yesterday, while taking a dip in my lovely friend Abby’s little wedding blog – you may know it, it’s called Style Me Pretty… ring a bell? ;) – I stumbled upon something that launched yet another “fashion impossible” (get it – mission impossible mixed with fashion ok whatevs you don’t care) for lil ol’ Alison.  As you may know, I love tracking down pretty things that have not yet been tracked down.  It’s one of my bloggin’ hobbies.  And so began my search for the dress in the image at the tippy top of this post.

And here it is, my friends… I found it. :)

It’s called the BCBG MAX AZRIA Strapless Applique Dress.  It’s from Nordstrom….

♥ … and it’s available for purchase here. ♥

Of course, I have to address those shoes, as I KNOW you’re focused on them.  I searched the Nordstrom site and found them… along with an alternative for those of us who shy away from high heels.

That’s the Enzo Angiolini ‘Merryann’ Pump…

♥ … and you can find them here. ♥

And here’s the alternative I mentioned…

It’s the Enzo Angiolini ‘Nilt’ Flat, and it’s supa fly, supa dupa fly!  Grab it here, my pretties.  Not only is it a great option for those us who like to stay grounded on our wedding day, but it’s quite the cute choice for your bridesmaids!

Style Me Pretty / Photography: O2 Photography / Dress: BCBG, Nordstroms / Shoes: Nordstroms

What’s that?  You ask what’s next for “fashion impossible?”  This is what’s next, my friends.  This:

Lemme know what you think!

xoxo!  – Alison

Label(s): {Fashion}

Love all of this...

I love this post and that dress and those shoes! What a perfect combo. I believe the flower girl dresses at the bottom are from Jcrew. If you find them, I will be super excited. I checked out Jcrew and those dresses weren’t on there.

Her outfit is gorgeous. I’d really like to know where the groom’s outfit is from, as the vest/pant combo is exactly what we’re going for with my guy’s attire!

Wasn’t that wedding adorable?! Really love that the bride just went for that awesome short dress. And the flower girls? – could-not-be-cuter

    I second Lauren’s question – where’s the groom’s outfit from. I love his vest.

Your blog/site is one of my daily destinations and listed on my wedding blog roll. It would be great to be listed on your blog link love page.

Picture #2 is devastatingly beautiful. Nice, sleuthing work, Nancy Drew! Love the combo. Very modern and chic.

I love the short dress! I thought about it for my casual wedding, but everything about my wedding is casual, I wanted to switch it up a bit.

Can I be added to Link Love? I know my site is new, and amateur, but I have great things in mind for it : )

Thank you all for your kind words! (I am the bride shown above). The flower girl dresses were purchased from Crewcuts (J.Crew kids). The groom’s attire is Perry Ellis (pants and vest and white striped shirt) and tie is Ben Sherman). To see more pictures, check out Style Me Pretty =)
