The Knotty Bride™ Wedding Blog + Wedding Vendor Guide

Morning, everyone!  There are quite a few things I’m loving today (as per usual), but there are two – even possibly three – extra special things at the tippy top of my list at the moment.  One of them you might be able to guess… and it’s coming a bit later on.  It has to do with ANNOUNCING THE WINNER OF THE GEM PHOTO FREE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY GIVEAWAY oh look, there, I just blew it.  I blew the secret!  I’m terrible at this.

Ok, calm down.  Let’s everybody calm down.  Things just got a little intense, but we’re ok.  Be cool.  EVERYTHING’S.  COOL.

Let’s start at the beginning.

I am in lust with each and every lovely little thing that comes out of the hyper-creative noggin’ of one Megan Knight Gonzalez, the designer of MaeMae Paperie.  She offers a line of, as she puts it, “completely custom invitations, announcements, social stationery, and branding,” and it rarely gets better than this, my friends.

She created this save the date for a client who’s getting married in Raleigh, NC – a city very close to my heart.  I spent many hours waiting for planes in that town’s airport during my college years… despite this, I still love the place, so that’s a testament… well, that’s probably just a testament to the joy of my college years, but the town’s lovely, too!  :)

By the way, if you’re digging the calligraphy, it was done by the talented hand of Molly from Plurabelle, and I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a calligrapher!
