{#1} POPULAR WEDDING DRESS ALERT | “Grace” by Amy Michelson | The “It” dress brides are dying to wear.

You might remember an awe-inspiring three part mountain wedding we recently shared with you guys.  If you’d like to reacquaint yourselves, by all means, take another look.

Perhaps the loveliest aspect of that fine day was the bride’s breathtaking Amy Michelson wedding gown, the signature feature of which was those sheer organza straps which ever so delicately crisscrossed her back.

The gown’s name is “Grace,” and it’s today’s showstopping dress alert!

The Grace boasts three fluttery layers of silk organza, and has the loveliest Alencon Lace overlay you’ve ever seen in your LIFE.

It’s pretty much a guaranteed showstopper for a bride daring enough to to do a full… “backal?”  Frontal sounds so much better than backal in that phrase.  But whatevs I’m going with it.

That’s not all for today, OBVS!  We took a vote on twitterino yesterday, and the winning topic is what’s coming up next…

Oohhhh I can hardly wait. ;)

I’m curious, would you dare to wear a backless dress on your wedding day?

xoxo!  – Alison

I love that dress! it’s so feminine and each girl I see in it moves like an angel. I am definitely trying that on. :)

  3. Laney on January 20, 2011

ADORE. We seem to have the EXACT SAME STYLE, and it makes me love you.

  4. Victoria Sharkey on January 20, 2011

    I absolutely would wear that!

  5. Jennifer on January 20, 2011

The dress is gorgeous but I personally would not wear it..too much..flowing everywhere? if that makes sense

  6. Megan on January 20, 2011

I really don’t like anything about this dress, just my opinion. Reminds me of a mixed material prom dress…

  7. Megan on January 20, 2011

The dress is stunning. I love the back how it ties. The front cut is gorg in the front but I’m not sure I like how the lace transitions at the hips:)) but overall, super stunning.Xoxo

  8. Christie O. {Hindsight Bride} on January 20, 2011

I love the rough asymmetry of the dress, and yes I would totally wear a backless gown. What’s the difference between that and strapless really?

  9. Steph {bubblerock} on January 20, 2011

This is a beauty… A stunning dress… You have to be able to pull it off but the model certainly can pull it off…
    What an amazing dress…

  10. Diana on January 20, 2011

I really love the front and the color…but part of me would get annoyed with that bow…it needs to be tied perfectly.

  11. Jadey on January 20, 2011

That dress is so romantic and flowing and girlly I love it.

OMG they are all so effortless and stunning!! When I ever get married this is where I’m coming to for inspirations and advice.

I wore that on my big day, and it was the perfect touch to my romantic summer wedding. It was so light and feminine. As much as I do not want to part with it, I am thinking of selling so that someone else can enjoy the grace and elegance I did on my special day.
