So, it’s snowing again.
I don’t even want to talk about it.
So I won’t.
I’m gonna talk about sweet stuff, partially because sweet stuff doesn’t make my nose run and my eyes water (unless the sweet stuff has chili powder in it, of course). But mostly because we attended the loveliest event last night at Landmarc, a rather stellar restaurant operation in NYC that boasts the darlingest little wedding-friendly space you ever did see. And the people who run the place? Top notch. Not to mention, cake-maker extraordinaire Ron Ben-Israel and his fabulous team were there to make the event that much more special… and tasty.
We have plans to do a private tasting of Ben-Israel’s line of gluten-free cakes quite soon, which gets me SO excited, since that’s one of the newest things to hit the world of wedding confections. (If you’re a cake maker, I’d say it’s crucial to jump on that train if you haven’t already.) I’m PUMPED to share my experience with you guys after that little rendez-vous we’ve got coming up! (Funfact: Chelsea Clinton‘s wedding cake was gluten-free. So, yeah, this is happening.)
Moving on… I think most of you will remember that relationship post from a while ago, in which I attacked the concept of “The New Monogamy.” (Update: STILL AGAINST IT.)
Weeellllll, I paid a visit to Hello Naomi again and, MUCH to my delight, she’s posted bushels and pecks of new confections for our eyes to devour! I’ve gathered my favorites here for a healthy dose of the sweetest eye candy you ever did see. Be sure to visit her site for some more of the pretty!
