FREE CUSTOM MONOGRAM LOVE ♥ Save Trees ♥ Carve Your Names in THIS!

OK, you know how much I LOOOOOOVE the Wedding Chicks.  If not, let me remind you.

… But when they make things for us like this, I just… I… it’s just…

All I can think of to say is THANK YOU, Amy and Jocey!  You two are helping us ramp up that pretty factor in our lives, AND saving countless trees in the process, now that we don’t have to go and carve our names in actual trees anymore!  Thank goodness, because that is soooo 50s!  Plus, with Earth Day ’round the corner, this is exactly the kind of thing we need.

Oooh, did I mention the color combination options?  Because there are many, and they are AWESOME.

It was extremely fun to make this.  Which I know sounds ridiculous, but it was, it really was.

So, want a piece of this interactive graphic action?  Who am I kidding, of course you do!  Click here to create your own custom heart + arrow monogram right now, over on the Wedding Chicks blog!

In the meantime, check out some photos Amy took depicting all the cool stuff you can do with your custom monogram (ideas included below: invitations, envelopes, labels, menus and table numbers):

If this doesn’t spell cuteness, I don’t know what does.

FREE PRINTABLE LOVE | for the love of hearts & bunting! | DIY Invitations for Your Wedding or Party, from Haley Dolan

Let me preface this post by assuring you that your Vera Wang fix is on its way.  However, I felt compelled to bring you a lil freebie love before we get into it… hope you like!

Something about these playful prints from Haley Dolan of Bread of Many makes me want to have a party RIGHT NOW.

You know what’s great about these (and most) free printable invitation suites?  They’re blank, so you can have your way with them.  And by that, I mean you can use them for any party or occasion that tickles your fancy.  (I’m trying to get used to that phrase, but it just keeps sounding more and more dirty and lascivious.  Just me?)

Now, think for a minute about the tone you’d like to set for your wedding.  If a simple, laid-back, intimate affair, with a focus on good ol’ fashioned fun is a good way of describing your thoughts, well then I’d love to come (no, seriously, I’d love to come)… but, perhaps more importantly, I’d say that this invitation suite is likely a great fit for your big day.

Did I mention it comes in three colorways?  Yeah, I know.

Okay, seriously.  Is that not the cutest thing you’ve seen today?  (Not counting puppies and kittens.  I understand there’s no beating puppies and kittens.  An invitation can’t do this.)  I’d be planning my 6-year-old niece’s birthday party at this very moment with these invitations setting the theme, if only she didn’t live all the way across the country in Ahbucookie, New Mexico, as my 3-year-old nephew likes to call it.  Maybe I’ll just have to visit her come March so this dream can come true. … I mean, so that I can celebrate her special day with her.  Because that’s what’s important to me.  ;)

By the way, I couldn’t think of two better font matches for these invites than those suggested by the lovely ladies of Nonpareil Magazine, which is where I found this printable loveliness.  These, too, are brought to us by Haley Dolan, and are available over at FontSpace!

Dying to get started on this?  Sick of hearing what I have to say about it?  Go ahead and download the free printables here.  And as for the free fonts, you can click here for Shirtsy, and here for Romantique.  Have a ball!

FRIDAY’S FAB FINDS + VALENTINE’S DAY INSPIRED GOODNESS | Free Printables, Love Postage, Lollies, a Lightbulb Valentine and More…

Let’s start with something sweet, sparkly and bright ~ Valentine Lollies from Sweet Paul!

I found out about this project, created by Danni Hong of Oh, Hello Friend, from Ellie at Mint and immediately fell in love with its pretty, pretty, prettiness.

If you’d like to try it yourself, just head over to Mint and download Danni’s printable PDF’s.

By the way, here’s what you’ll need for the project, as outlined by Ellie:

- Clear votive holders (michaels: $1)
- Tealight candles
- Modge Podge
- Brush for glue
- Lace doilies
- Small box of matches
- Various sheets of patterned paper
- Ribbon/twine
- Printable PDF tags

If you’re a fiend for projects and printables today, how about some love note candy wrappers?  These pastel printable delights – made especially for Valentine’s Day – were created by who else but one of my idols, Ez (of Creature Comforts) and her amazing partner, Marichelle, both of the super cute online shop, Nice Package.  I love them!!!

This is what the printable PDF looks like; click here to visit Nice Package for the download!

By the way, I caught a glimpse of these lovely postage stamps on Paper Pastries and fell madly for them.

I’ve seen most of these from afar, on wedding invitations and the like, but I’ve never actually seen them all together like this, and they officially need to be in my life.

I don’t even necessarily need a letter, I just want these stamps; somebody, please, get me these stamps.

I really got a kick out of seeing this super cute light bulb Valentine idea Arwen O’Reilly Griffith from Craft found over at Design*Sponge!  How absolutely perfect is this, especially for maybe the handyman in your life?  (Assuming that your significant other is the handyman.  It might be awkward to gift this to your hired handyman, though I’m certain he’d appreciate it.)

If you’re serious about this project, it’s a pretty comprehensive tutorial; down to instructions on hollowing out a lightbulb… so, since I know nothing about that, visit Arwen’s post or get thee to Design*Sponge to begin turning old crap into new sap!  (You know, ’sap,’ as in sappiness… as in the essence of V-Day… maybe I’m just cracking myself up here.)

Another cute thing, followed by another craft thing, then I’m done, I PROMISE (for now, at least… and I crossed my fingers anyway so whatev); how cute are these Kraft Address Labels from Paper Pastries?

LOVE.

I think this is great, so I thought I’d share it with all of you in case anyone’s looking to deliver a tiny little gift in a super cute way:

It’s called a “jar of hearts” and it’s by Jessica Wilson.  Click here for the how-to!  I found it over at CRAFT, a great place for, well, crafting. :)

Okay my dear, dear friends… I think that’s quite enough for now.  It’s just that I found SO MUCH amazing stuff and, well, my world is one of all or nothing/go big or go home… which translates into bringing back everything I love, with nary an exception.  Time-consuming for me, pretty good deal for you, eh?  ;)

With that said, I’m going to return to enjoying the heck out of my new haircut.  I feel like a brand new woman!  Haircuts: highly recommended.  Lots of love to everyone!  I hope your weekends are warm and fuzzy.

FRIDAY’S FAB FINDS + VALENTINE’S DAY INSPIRED GOODNESS ~ makin’ zee love babies ~ { Part II } Say hi to the next beautiful bunch! | Pretty Printables ♥ Sweet, Delicious Desserts

Oh, hello again!  I didn’t see you there.  Back for thirds, I see.  Well, you’re in for some good news, buddy.  I think it’s safe to say I’ve had a 1 – 2 – 3 PUNCH of post prettiness as far as pretty posts go these days.  (If I do say so myself.)  And my excitement level about this third one is off the charts…

Speaking of charts (yeah, I just did that), how perfect are these for getting in the Valentine’s Day spirit?  They’re Love Charts, loosely and lovingly adapted from your typical doctor’s eye chart… AND I LOVE THEM.

I have these free printables, but I haven’t yet created something as darling as this satchel (above) I discovered while flipping through designinglee’s photostream (which I found while perusing some craft photostreams – talk about inspiration overload, by the way).

Look what else she did with it!  This girl is officially one of my soul sistas.

I know you want to know how to get your hands on this, and I’m excited to tell you!  Good relationship, we have here.  It’s from ink-bloom!  Go ahead, check them out.  You get the free printable when you sign up for their emails!!!  I am so plugging them for free right now.  How nice am I?

So, I hope y’all are having yourselves a fabulous Friday thus far.  However, if that’s not exactly how you’d describe your day, then I’m betting this will cheer you right up…

I found this remarkably beautiful, drool-inducing Valentine’s Day dessert buffet – created by the amazing Amy Atlas – during what turned out to be a very exciting visit to the ultimate foodie mecca, Hostess with the Mostess.

Those My Valentine heart cookies are perfection!

Loving these rock candy sticks and meringue cookies:

Ahh.  A pink and gray heaven.  I just wanna live inside of it.

… But first, I want one of those cuppies with the keys on top!

Next up is pure photographic beauty.

FORM OF: wedding desserts, drinks and decor.  TAKEN BY: Amelia Lyon.

I’m a big fan of Amelia Lyon’s work.  I’ve featured her before, in one of my favorite wedding photography posts so far.

And now, a little Bakerella love…

Wanna give someone in your life a big ol’ KISS?  Let me recommend Bakerella’s Hershey-but-actually-Oreo Kisses!  It’s a sort of hybrid delight, that you’re gonna like.  I guarantee it.  But I can’t guarantee you’re gonna like the way you look if you eat too many.  So make sure you give ‘em away, mostly.

Isn’t this super?  They look like Hershey’s Kisses… they act like Hershey’s Kisses… but they taste like… well I don’t know what they taste like because I haven’t yet made them.  But the answer’s probably good.

Take a trip on over to Bakerella, and try your hand at these Kiss-tastic treats.

Hey, guess what?

HERE’S ONE MORE!

A pretty printable – for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

These beautiful DIY favor labels are sooooo perfect if you place them on one of my favorite things in the whole wide world: brown paper bags!  (Yes, you’re right – I’m easily pleased.)

I found these printable labels on Flights of Fancy, a lovely blog brought to you by the Betsywhite Stationery Boutique.  It’s focus is on – you guessed it – wedding stationery.  GOT TO LOVE that.

Here are the tools you’ll need to make your own:

- brown paper lunch bags from the grocery store (if you go to Michael’s you’ll find them, too, but they’re a little bit pricier than those at the grocery store)

- a ruler

- an x-acto knife (there’s probably one in your office’s supply closet; shh, I didn’t say that)

- a bone folder

- Double-sided tape or Duck Easy-Stick® Double Stick Adhesive

Note: Flights of Fancy recommends the Easy-Stick for this project.

I think that’s enough for today.  I hope you’re feeling full in the belly with all that edible inspiration!

Alright, here’s me wishing you only the happiest of Fridays, dear friends.  You’re gonna love what I’ve got for you next time.  Oooohhh you are gonna LOVE IT!!!
