| WEDDING PARTY ~ this Saturday, Feb 20 | :: A Bridal Event by the Wedding Library!!! ::

So, my birthday is this Saturday, and while I don’t feel like crawling into a hole, I’m certainly not immune to that tinge of dismay most of us inevitably experience as we get older.  I have to admit that ever since turning 27 – the age at which I unchecked the “Show Year” box on Facebook – the whole birthday thing has been a bit less than thrilling.  So, while it isn’t THE BIG ONE, it’s dangerously close, and I HAVE to celebrate in style.  What does that mean for me?  It means that I’ll be at the Wedding Party the WHOLE ENTIRE DAY!!!

Now, maybe that doesn’t seem like the obvious choice for my birthday, but once you check out the itinerary for yourself, you’ll see precisely why I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.  You have no idea – NO IDEA – how psyched I am for Saturday.  For starters, Darcy Miller, editorial director of Martha Stewart Weddings (as if I had to tell you), AND celebrity event designer Colin Cowie, will be in attendance.  As if that wasn’t enough, there will be a Vera Wang runway show, sweet treats, food trucks, makeup trials… the list goes on.

I couldn’t imagine a better way to ring in old age.
