FRIDAY’S FAB FINDS™ HOLIDAY EDITION | Felt garland, a sparkly dress I must have for a party next week, frosted gingerbread treats, DIY holiday postcards and tags…

I know, so cute!

A few quick notes before I get to the pretty stuff:

Today’s the last day to enter the free wedding photography giveaway by Gem Photo.  So, if you haven’t submitted your entry yet, I, uhh… I suggest you, uhh, get on that straight away.  Click here to find out more!

Vendor Love launched on Wednesday, and we couldn’t be more excited about it!  We’ve received incredible feedback about it, beyond-our-over-achieving-dreams-feedback, and we’re thrilled so many of you beautiful brides out there love it so much!  One could say that our goal is to be a bit like a dating site for brides and wedding vendors, creating ideal matches between brides and vendors, except without the high sex-on-the-first-date frequency.  So far, we’ve kept one-night-stands to a minimum, so we’re pretty thrilled about that! ;)  But seriously, we’re beyond glad everyone’s finding it so useful and easy to navigate, and just plain loving it so much (we do try to read all of your emails and tweets, we’re slowly but surely making our way through it all, so thank you EVERYONE for writing!).  Our vendors already started getting countless inquiries within the first 24 hours (!!!) of the launch, so we’re pretty freakin’ excited about that, obvs.

Brides: we’ll be continually adding vendors to the guide, so keep checking back for even more insane talent!

Ok, on to my holiday finds from around the interweb!

That adorable tray of cheery gingerbread cookies is from Ikea’s 140-page coffee table book, “Hembakat är Bäst” – which means “Homemade is Best.”  Styling by Evelina Bratellshot; photographed by Carl Kleiner; via Lushlee.

J’adore the sparkle factor below, ladies.  Smells like pretty.

Perfect for NYE, if you’re willing to freeze your nips off.

Really digging this felt ball garland project from Jordan Ferney’s Oh Happy Day!  I knew felt had its uses, but I didn’t know it could look this chic.

How CUTE is this DIY Holiday Paper Reindeer Postcard & Tag via Eat Drink Chic????!!!!!

Love it.  Go ahead and check it out if you want more of it.

Loooooving these hot cocoa ornament favors from Austin Wedding Blog.  Of course, I heart anything involving cocoa, so I’m biased.

Ok, that’s a wrap… for now.  Of course, there are approximately a LOT more of these awesome bits and pieces all over the web this time of year.  I just thought I’d gather up some of my absolute favorites for you guys to check out.  I’m dying to know what you think?  So, what think you?

Another thing I’m dying to know; what are your holiday plans?  Family, friends, parties… what are you guys up to this season?

Hope you’re having a happy Friday, friendlies!

xoxo!  – Alison

FRIDAY’S FAB FINDS ♡ bunny love ♡ Vintage Labels, Delectable Treats, a Bunny Cozy, Easter Projects and Free Printables for Easter Weekend!

First up, here’s a cute bunny.

He’s just an adorable little reminder that Easter fast approaches!  It’s THIS Sunday, April 4, as if you didn’t know.  I love Easter, for myriad reasons… the main one is coming up in the next post, today.  But a huge reason I love it is because, every year, we celebrate by heading out to my Aunt and Uncle’s house, and eating ham and turkey and sweet potatoes and carrot cake (or pudding, maybe?) and all that other fare synonymous with Easter… as well as with Christmas and Thanksgiving.  (It’s interesting how all those holidays sort of share the same meal.  Why change up a good thing, I guess.  Though it’s not that good.  Though I’ve never had a food dream – which seems odd now that I’m writing it out – I feel confident that it wouldn’t involve turkey and ham.)

Next find is from yvestown: an Easter bunny cozy!  I have much love for this.

Country Living has got me spinning over these precious little pictures and projects.  Behold!

I am adoring the heck out of these vintage Easter labels from Suzee Que.  She’s constantly uploading such fun and lovely labels.  It’s always a thrill to check in and see what she’s got.  In fact, I’ve got a post involving her labels coming up in the very near future that I KNOW, absolutely KNOW, you’re gonna go apes*** over.

Check out these super cute free printable egg wrappers and Easter egg hunt cards, from Two Brunettes!!!

And, finally, Mowielicious brings us home with some of the most delicious looking things I think I’ve ever seen.  Though, I should disclose that Cadbury Mini Eggs and macarons are kind of my favorite things going in this world, edible wise.

I’m a little post-happy, today.  More coming your way, in a bit.  It’s the one I referenced in this morning’s post.  Talk to you soon!  Hope you guys are having a fabulous Friday!

DESSERT LOVE ~ COOKIES | personalized cookie-cutter creations! | This. Is. Awesome.

I am so excited… SO EXCITED… about this post.  I stumbled upon this awesomeness while perusing Creature Comforts, which made mention of this product.  I checked it out on Williams-Sonoma, and just cannot – I, I just – it’s so – just LOOK and you’ll understand:

Do you see what I mean?!!

You can imprint pretty much any word or phrase you want.  There are seven pre-made words (Welcome, Happy, Birthday, Holidays, Thank You, From, I Love You), and three alphabet sets, not to mention extra vowels and other commonly used letters.

After you’ve arranged your letters, just press the cookie-cutter into the cookie dough, and voilà!  You’ve got a cookie with a message.  AWESOME.

The set comes with three cookie-cutter shapes: a scalloped-rectangle, a heart and a star.

As if that wasn’t enough; it comes with a dishwasher-safe mesh bag, which helps to make cleanup and storage a lot easier.  I cherish such things.  Without this dual-purpose baggie, I can guarantee you that somewhere in the process of piecing together a phrase, making a batch of cookies and cleaning everything involved, at least 16 of those letters would be MIA.  Entombed indefinitely within the cracks and crevices of my little Brooklyn kitchen, like so many mini time capsules left for future inhabitants.  I wonder, what would they make of the messages I unintentionally left for them?  I guess we’ll never know, since we’ve got those mesh bags.

ANYWAY…

So, picture it: your name + your fiancé’s name, imprinted on 100s of sugar cookies.  And maybe the words “Eat, Drink, Be Married” or something awfully cute like that, on another 100?  Yeah, that’s kind of a great idea.  Doesn’t get much more unique than that.  But wait, do you already have a dessert planned (separate from the wedding cake)?  If so, I think these cookies would make the absolute cutest wedding favor EVER.  After all, it’s widely known that guests prefer edible treats over most other wedding favors.

Want it?  You can find it here: Message-in-a-Cookie Cutter Set
