Happy Friday evening, friends!  It is good to be back home from ma travels, and I have a double feature-ish situation thingie going on today for ya eyeballs.  The second half of this post is a killer wedding, and you’re more than welcomed to skip to that if all you want is some visual candy.  All good in the hood by me.  I’m actually psyched for you to see it, and I’m dying to know what you think of it all.  The first part of the post, however, is a personal story about what happened while I was traveling back home from Las Vegas (does that translate to ‘land of virgins’ or is it ‘many vajayjays?’  sorry… I don’t speak Spanish) to nyc this week.  I was seated next to a father and his 11-year-old son.  The boy’s father, divorced, shared unique lessons about marriage with his son; lessons I wasn’t expecting.  Of course, it had to be blogged, and today is when it’s happening.  I’m hoping to hear your thoughts and if you think I’m crazy for having the reaction I did/do.

(Quick note: when you get to the wedding part of this post, please make sure you’re in an enclosed space, like a small closet or parked car or possibly swaddled a bassinet, because this feature is going to blow your face off and I’m concerned about you losing track of your face.)

Hellllloooooo, lovelies!  How goes it?  … Good, good that’s good.  Uhhh so HEY, hey…. you…. pssssst…… you…. yeah, you, over there…. hey you wanna see a wedding?

AWESOME.  I mean really?  REALLY?!  Ohhhh man, that’s awesome.  Awesome awesome awesome because I got one.  So this is PERFECT.  Man I’m, I’m just so glad you said so!  This really worked out well.  Also, I think this means we’re besties now…?  Also also, I’ll be turning in my Not Yet 100% Ridiculous membership card later.  Because all of that-ness that just went on earlier in the paragraph was just RIDIC ulous.  I’m worried though that they might not have alumni pins for when you’re out of the NY100%A club, because they probably don’t want to be associated with the people who aren’t in it anymore… seeing as we’re weird in a weird way now, instead of a cute way.  … Yeah.  Dang.

Happy Friday eeeeeeeeevuhningk, munchkinos!  Before you start reading i just wanna make sure I note here that things got really out of hand in this post and I apologize.  I think the no heat/no hot water situation forced my body into survival mode and resources that are typically so in abundance, instead became luxuries.  Like for example, a sufficient quantity of blood, getting pumped like clockwork into my brain.  Ok WE BEGIN, armed with that knowledge.

So, I’m sure you’ve heard the news, right?  Brian put a ring on it!  On June 24 in Hawaii, 24-year-old Megan Fox married 36-year-old Brian Austin Green, the slender, sorta cute-ish boy, aka my third choice (it went Brandon, Dylan, then David, my distant third – did you even remember his name was David?  I had to look it up) from everyone’s favorite ’90s teen drama, Beverly Hills 90210.  They were wed by a Hawaiian priest, and Brian’s son, Kassius (… ok), served as their only witness.  Yeah yeah yeah… but have you seen her dress?  Because it was totally NOT what I expected Megan Fox to wear on Megan Fox’s wedding day.  Totally.  Not.  What I expected.

First of all, it was white.  OMG that was horrible I didn’t mean it.  I really like Megan Fox, honest.  Ok, getting serious now, here’s what I expected: tight-fitting, glitzy, snug, low-cut, curve-hugging, and sleek.  I guessed completely wrong, except for that last detail.  It was definitely sleek.  But tight-fitting, snug and curve-hugging (which all mean the same thing because I was trying to drive home a point)?  Not really.  And the glitz and glam factor?  Not even close.  Here’s Armani’s artistic rendering of what she wore: {Continue reading…}

Today’s wedding comes to us from Amy Kolcz Photography, and it’s kinda like the most perfect thing ever…

First, it takes place in and around a barn.  Second, the couple made all this loveliness happen on a small budget and with a little help from their friends.  Third, it’s got these darling little touches of purple, which means my six-year-old niece who’s coming to visit today is going to FREAK.
